Description

Tic-Toc-Tower is an action packed puzzle and platforming game in which players have only ten seconds to complete a level! Rendered in charming pixel-art, every random level also features an additional challenge. Players can choose to pursue the extra watch item in every level, picking up the watch will grant two extra seconds for the next level but is also an extra risk…

The game only needs four buttons to be played (jump, duck, left and right) and the entire level can be seen on the screen at once.

  • Tic-Toc-Tower is a hectic platformer with tight controls and a fast working game design team. I have been following this game since before greenlight and it has grown into a cool little time waster.

The subtle extra challenge of getting the clock (and coins) on the easier levels to help on the harder levels keeps the easy levels challenging even for veteran players.

And the multiplayer is just mayhem.

The game is especially suitable for one handed gamers or other physically impaired gamers because of the low amount of buttons needed to play the game. The lack of control customization is a bummer though.

Visually impaired gamers might have trouble with some levels where the vision is deliberately obscured and the game has to little audio cues and to high a time pressure to learn the different levels by rote and play the game blind.

The gameplay, especially at the lower levels, is not complex and should be accessible to most gamers with mental impairments.

Deaf gamers should have no problem as no information is given by audio alone.

The developers have also said they are thinking about adding more accessibility features during or after the early access process so that might increase the accessibility of the game further.
